Excellent food, adequate choice and plenty of it ! Great service from staff in all areas of the hotel. Very nice pool area, plenty of decent sun loungers. Hotel location great and very peaceful area. Rooms clean, serviced daily. Nice air-con that actually worked.

Location is perfect, right on the beach and not far from the city if you would like to explore it.
Staff are professional and very friendly always happy to help. Animation are every day, kids been happy to participate in.
Kitchen is pretty good. There is always a fresh salad available, paella, pasta, lots of different fish and vegetables. Desserts are ok- still something to choose from- can’t really expect more from three stars hotel.
Entertainment in the evening which is plus and good terrace where you can enjoy the view.
If you want to park your car in the hotel parking area you have to pay but we found a lots of free parking space around the area so it’s not really a problem as I thought.

Alcossebre is a pleasant town with numerous beaches to visit. There is a large selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. One of the main things to remember is that the shops close for siesta time between 2pm and 6pm. If driving the one-way system can be confusing, the town like many others in Spain lacks public conveniences.

The town itself is a pretty little seaside place with cafes and restaurants and a mixture of local shops and the usual touristy ones.
The beach is lovely, flat, soft sand, lots of space and lovely for both walks along the shoreline and swimming. At the time of year I visited it was quiet and seemed a lovely place for families. There are play parks for little kids too.
It's also a good base for walks into the nearby mountains, but I'm not fit enough for that so I don't know what they're like.

This was our first visit to Alcossebre.
This was our first visit to Alcossebre. We had been recommended by several people who like us, do not like loud , brash resorts with wall to wall TV bars and British menus. This is definitely a Spanish family friendly resort, It is small enough that you can walk around yet has enough restaurants, tapas bars and small shops to keep you occupied. We ate at several, El Palmeral, Alein and my favourite, Batiste which was also open for breakfast.
We went to the tomato festival at Alcala de Xivert, visited Torrenostra which has a huge beach (an nobody spoke English in the restaurants) and Peniscola (again a huge beach) but most importantly the castle of the Knights Templars. You can use the bus but a car would be a real advantage.

We've been going to Alcossebre for 7 years, with a short gap because of the pandemoc. We were introduced by some neighbours of ours who have an apartment there. We always go when the fiesta is on, the atmosphere is vibrant then, very Spanish. We'll most probably be there again next year!

Small seaside town north of Valencia, quiet and family...
Small seaside town north of Valencia, quiet and family oriented, can be very busy in summer or long weekends with long lines of people waiting for restaurants and packed beaches. The centre has not much to offer, the seaside however is pretty.

Lovely pretty town. Excellent restaurants and area.
Lovely pretty town. Excellent restaurants and area. Agora great fish & chips, Sebastian la perla in Peniscola a la carte. I'lla in the marina. Will definitely visit again. Easy but a negotiable one way system. Avoid the Villa that we stayed in. Lovely walks and everything within walking distance

It was ok, but we where there in the end of the season, city was empty and nothing much to do! Hotel was full with old people, it’s ok, but it was wired to be only 30+ people in hotel and also in whole city. Good thing was that they have a washing room and you can wash and dry your clothes for free, it was very useful as we were traveling for a while already.
The hotel is in a charming location with amazing views out to sea. It feels like a rural retreat but is still close enough to walk into town whenever you want. The cute balconies on each room are a nice touch.
