Excellent design in a modern and comfortable facility. The Owner/Manager met us on arrival and settled us in. As the restaurant was closed that evening, he even gave us a bottle of wine and some snack items, which we enjoyed on the central courtyard terrace.

Firstly, I’ll start by saying that, Alcantara is a hidden gem destination in Spain. Perhaps a little bias, as I’ve been visiting for 10 years. Nonetheless the place is a natural beauty! So location wise, if you want a relaxing Spanish countryside stay, here is the place.
The hotel itself is cool and a unique stay, the fittings and the history behind the building is very cool. Staff, like most people in the village, are very friendly and helpful to someone with mediocre Spanish vocabulary.
My favourite part of the stay was the walk back to the hotel at the end of my day, really was pretty at sunset/sunrise.
I have ridden may motor bike over 300 miles to get there...
I have ridden may motor bike over 300 miles to get there then came to this wonderful bridge which was just stunning .
the hotel was lovely and relaxing after a long journey it was a well come place to stay.
The building was transformed from a grand convent into a great hotel. The room was really comfortable with a lovely view. Everything was perfect for tired travelers like us! Our dog fell in love with the bed provided in the pet-kit from the staff!
Spacious, quiet and friendly staff. The town’s history is very interesting. From the hotel it’s just a 10 minutes walk. Restaurant is good value for money, nice dishes.
