We stayed at The Gabrielle for one night, just to stay near the airport and then fly home the next day. This is a place that is trying to be luxury, but isn't quite there, but we loved it the same and would definitely stay here again! So, everyone was very helpful and kind. Our room was cozy and clean and had a bathtub and we had enough hot water for me to actually take a bath -- a first for me in Egypt! The restaurant cooked us dinner even though we arrived quite late and it was inexpensive and delicious. Some things in the room were a little worn (like it was difficult for the attendant to stick the card into the slot to make the lights come on, though he got it to stick eventually). We didn't have enough time to enjoy or even see the Sun City area, but it seems like a mall. The staff took care of our bags, showed us to our room, helped us order at the in-house restaurant, and arranged a taxi for us the next day. Overall, it was a great stay, especially to be comfortable and to be so close to the airport.

The hotel was amazing! We were greeted with welcome drinks, and they allowed us to check in two hours early at no extra cost. The room was very nice, with comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The cleaning ladies were so attentive, especially Nbeha and Mariam. The driver, Mostafa, was extremely respectful and careful while driving. The Italian restaurant was excellent; we had our New Year's Eve dinner there. The swimming pool was heated, which allowed the children to swim even during their "winter." It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.
P.S. It's located near the airport, which is a great area to stay in Cairo, as it is close to excellent malls, restaurants, etc.
