I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in the heart of Alexandria, Egypt, and I couldn't be more impressed! The location in downtown is perfect, close to all the major attractions and just a short walk from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and offered all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality that made me feel right at home.
If you're visiting Alexandria, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service, prime location, and overall excellent experience!

Crazy traffic and noise, dangerous to walk as a pedestrian since there are almost no traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. Uber taxis are very cheap, but most of them drive like crazy and don't have functional seatbelts at the back seats. We found the best food and view at the Greek Club, and amazing croissants at the Croissant D'Alexis! Montazah park is beautiful and offers some fantastic views away from the traffic and the noise.

Visiting town centre, with its many suks, was one of the highlights. Major sights like the Library are well known. Less so the newly renovated Greek and Roman Art Museum. Our guide didn't intend to take us there but we insisted and were very pleased that we did as it is one of the most important museums in Egypt.

There is no place to take a pleasant walk in the city or spend time except the museum and library. It is a very ruined, chaotic, noisy, dirty city with terrible traffic, so walking or hanging around is not only unpleasant but also tiring. However, its library and Greco-Roman Museum are incredibly impressive. Other museums are very ordinary. Seafood dishes are very fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Therefore, I think 2 days are enough to visit this city; You can spend a lot of time in the library and the museum, take a coffee break in a cafe (the number of stylish ones is almost nonexistent), take a short city walk and see what looks like it and gain insight about the city and have a seafood dinner in the evening and continue on your way.

was a lovely hotel, staff all friendly, my only complaint is that everywhere you went you could smell cigarette smoke, people smoked in the lobby, and the corridors the rooms, even though my room was clearly labeled no smoking everything stunk of cigarette smoke including fresh bedding and towels. this for a smoker would be not noticed, but if like me and my daughters (all nonsmokers) it was enough to put a black cloud over the whole holiday .
The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent walking distance to shops, restaurants and the corniche and its traffic :( The bed was very comfortable and water pressure strong in the shower. The "light dinner" provided in the evening was a nice touch and introduced us to some Egyptian wines that we then bought after tasting them :) The surroundings and antiques were lovely and the lift was like a step back in time to another era....loved it! The wi fi worked much better than the rest of Egypt :)
The quality of the room is fine with a big balcony and clean bathroom. Maybe the building of the hotel is old, but it doesn't mean any disadvantage for the guests.
The beach is also very lovely with free sunbeds and towels on the site.
The breakfast was good, it was like in any other hotel in Egypt.
The staff is is very hospitable, so nice people. On the departure day i didn't know how to get to the airport, but the staffs have organized a private transfer for me.
Location of the hotel is great, inside a nice outdoor mall having different restaurants and cafe's. Many shops are also around and if you are travelling with kids, there is also a kids' entertainment rides in within the mall. Family room was excellent which was basically 2-connected rooms with bed space for 4 and 2 LED TVs' and coffee makers. Breakfast is a world-class 5 star buffet with an Egyptian flavour as well. Everything was just great.
Friendliness of the staff specially Mirna the receptionist and Sara
Everything was clean and we found anything we may need in the room. Really good value for money, good place to stay I recommend to all friends inside or outside egypt
Thank you Mirna..for your professional handling of guest problems and their resolution
The breakfast was good. Serve with hot milk and lots of Egyptian food. The owner was nice texting me to update me on the electricity timing and very understanding as well.
