Staff, standards, quality and small touches. I caught a throat infection and couldnt dive, without prompting, reception sent some throat lozenges. Small touches but lovely. This hotel is a class act.

The owner was super helpful, he gave us local advice and booked our bus tickets to Luxor for us. The apartment had everything we needed for our one night stop over. Lots of hot water and v spacious.

My wife and I had the best of time at SB.
My wife and I had the best of time at SB. We felt like we the guests of honor the whole time we were there! We stayed there for 6 nights and had opted for the all-inclusive package. The food was always delicious, and there was more than plenty of it; and great variety, too. Alcoholic drinks are not included in the package. The manager is always around and will amuse you with his sense of humor. Just don't have him referee your ping pong game if you play against your wife. He will always make sure the wife wins. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and it had a nice terrace attached. Internet was mostly available around the reception area. All the staff were always more than attentive and very friendly. We went diving with the dive center located on the premise and we made some nice dives. We highly recommend Silver Beach!!

Small town with few places to eat. Public beach overflowing with litter which is a shame indeed as the swimming bay is lovely.
The town is run down but there has been some improvements which does include more cleaning and repairs to public spaces. Masses of unattractive and mainly unfinished new constructions outside the old centre .

I never moved outside the resort. because the weather was too hot and humid but next time I may move outside. the sea looks virgin and the fish was variable and colorful and this makes the city suitable for diving and snorkeling .

Quseir has a lot of history but it is very poorly presented.
Quseir has a lot of history but it is very poorly presented. The fort was interesting to visit although I did that briefly since I was on a business trip. A lot of information about the history of the site but I would have liked to get some souvenir shop for the fort since everything you find outside is the normal pharoah stuff which you find anywhere. The old town was nice to walk around but it is very very run down which is sad because it seems to have very nice old houses (if restored).
People as usual were very friendly and there to help and chat

The staff was very accommodating. We had business meetings and were returning after the lunch time (as it is all inclusive), hotel staff prepared lunch for us and left it our rooms. This was a great gesture !!
Food was good too and the atmosphere is very cosy.
On checkout, I was pleasantly surprised that they prepared lunch boxes for us as we were flying out of hurghada !!
Over all very please with the stay !
The general maintenance staff (room cleaners, grounds maintenance) are polite and helpful and doing their best, as is Ibrahim (one of the reception team).
There is a house reef. The lifeguard guides you to it.
There are various birds around, including Osprey and Egrets
The hotel runs a project to look after disadvantaged children.
