My son and I stayed in Al Moudira Hotel for two nights. My son was in awe and I can honestly say that this was the most beautiful and special hotel I ever stayed in. You walk through the door and feel like you are stepping into a new world where the heat and stresses and noises of the outside world disappear. The rooms, the paths with their little fountains and benches and beautiful plants , the restaurants, the pool and the gardens are all amazing. Food is exceptional. Some of it already comes from their own garden and this amount will increase as they are in the process of creating a big vegetable garden and are raising their own animals, chickens, ducks, even water buffalo . All staff and also the manager are very attentive, professional and helpful and always happy to share their knowledge about the hotel and future plans for the hotel but also the town and local village life. We rented some bicycles one morning and cycled around the villages and canals, a great experience. We hope we can come back one day.

Unbeatable value for money. Very spacious room with a king size bed and a massive bathroom. Very helpful staff that create a lovely laid back atmosphere. Great pool and common area. Just 4 minutes by the free boat provided by the hotel from the east bank. I would stay here again if I returned to Luxor again, no doubt!

great large house, well decorated, fully equipped, beautiful garden and 2 swimming pools, awesome views over the Nile; extra for us was the excellent service from the team esp Ramadan and Saber who were extremely kind and helpful in the house, serving us tea, dinner and even helping with laundry, and they took us on a tuctuc ride with the family. Host is very responsive and the advice from Mohammed who manages was very good as we planned our visits the next day

It is quiet and pleasant in the new residential aria in Luxor. Big apartment with big rooms and bathroom. The governor of Luxor is literally living next door and basically you have 24 hours live police guards.

This is a little gem! Such good value for money.
It is so clean, comfortable and decorated to the highest of standards. The facilities are great: the pool is open until 5pm for all (then 5-7pm for ladies only), the kitchen is fully equipped and practical, the bathroom is spacious, the balcony has a clothes drying rack, the Wi-Fi is good.
There is an Alrayah market to the right (on Al Gezira Street) which is priced well and has a good selection of things. I found it was best to mention this supermarket to taxi drivers/tour companies in terms of directions/location finding.
The host was very welcoming with all the information that I needed. He even accommodated for our 4am check-out.
I would recommend downloading the Careem app to book your transfer from the airport - this is the cheapest and easiest option for a taxi.
