The transformation of Hurghada from quiet fishing village to the premier tourist destination in Egypt is complete. If you are looking for a beachside holiday in a first-class hotel or resort, then Hurghada has some of the best in Egypt, along with a lively nightlife scene and diverse shopping.
Bargain for a souvenir in old town El Dahar with its more traditional bazaars, and the city centre of Sekalla has many top class hotels. Marine Boulevard is lined with restaurants and designer stores.
The popularity of outranking the Giza Pyramids, Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel has impacted some of those precious coral reefs along the Red Sea Riviera coast. However, there are still great diving spots to be found. Try the nearby coast around the tourist resort town of El Gouna or the uninhabited Giftun Island is ideal for snorkelling with its coral gardens. The eastern portion of the Sahara Desert with its Red Sea Mountains and nomadic Bedouin tribes can be explored from Hurghada on camels.
Whether you are looking for an all-inclusive family resort on Hurghada beach, a self-catering apartment with private pool or a touch of luxury in Soma Bay, Booking.com has your choice covered. Hurghada International Airport has direct flights from many European locations.

I like Sharm better as its beaches are not sandy, but stone.
I like Sharm better as its beaches are not sandy, but stone. It's much better for snorkeling and diving. I wouldn't recommend diving in Hurghada as there's not much to see underwater unless you go by boat. But again I may be too spoiled with diving in Sharm. Although Hurghada could be a good place to take a diving course. In general, I find Hurghada cheaper than Sharm, and most of the liveaboard boats are departing from here or Marsa Alam, which is way closer to Hurghada than Sharm. It's better to stay in Makadi, Soma Bay or El Gouna if you like snorkeling than in Hurghada itself although these places tend to be more expensive. However, I could tell that Hurghada is a good place for a family vacation if one's got small kids/toddlers. Sand beaches are best for them.

It is necessary to distinguish between the "old Hurghada", where the locals live, and the tourist resorts. The distance between Hurghada and some resorts can be quite large. You will necessarily need a taxi or perhaps an Uber to travel.
The Red Sea is beautiful, the locals are friendly. Beware of airport taxi drivers.

Fair review...
The team is good and welcoming. The food is decent, except the snacks. The view is very nice and the room and place is good overall.
The beach wasn't good as I expected. Only one beach was good, clean, have reefs and good for snorkeling. The other two beaches were bad, they were like big artificial lakes and water wasn't clean and running as it should be. Overall, it's good quality for the money and the team are working hard to serve the guests.
Thank you Amelia (I hope I wrote your name correctly) for making sure that we had a good stay at the hotel and thank you Nour, form the house keeping team for your hard work : )

Everyone was so helpful… Hanna, our main man at the hotel, Mina in the Vanilla Bar to Hoosam on the beach.
And this is only the main gents that looked after my wife and I… All staff went out of their way to help..
-This hotel is great value for money, didn't expect to have dinner for 4 nights for 2 people for just 400 Egyptian pounds compared to breakfast only.
-The location is top notch. In the center of Hurghada with all sort of shops around.
-It has a dedicated sea which is a bonus. And the aqua park is okay.
-The night shows and performances exceeded my expectation for a small hotel.
If you want to be served as 5 stars with price of 4 stars Hotel then go to Panorama Banglows.
Amazing house keeping team

No complaints are ignored

I'm really looking for the next trip
First experience in Hurghada in an all inclusive hotel. The staff was very pleasant and the room in front of the sea was great. The aqua park was nice for adults and a 2 years old child. The lagoon is ideal to play with children and learn kitesurfing. The pontoon gives an access to the beautiful red sea reef for snorkeling.
The most beautiful luxurry hotel in Hurghada .
The manager Mr Rama Gad and Mr Oma the receptionist , Mr Mohamed at Ruma spa and all staffs at the hotel during our stay was incredible friendly and professional . We highly recommended this hotel to anyone plan a vacation in Hughada.
