Cool place to stay if you're travelling solo, but don't expect much useful information about road conditions etc. Staff does its best to be helpful but it's still a place for the package tourist mob. Best feature: Bahariya is out of New Valley so you won't be harassed by police. Otherwise, clean beds and showers, the big boss is is a real character, what else to expext.

Compare to standard Egyptian hotels, this one is really nice. Plenty of hot water, bed linen, kettle was provided on request.
Mr Mohamad at the counter was very nice, speaking excellent English and answered all our questions.
WiFi connection in the lobby is OK.
Fire/grill place in the middle of the courtyard is great
