Once we got used to the fact that there were no staff to talk to or ask questions, it suited our needs just fine. We had one room each, one downstairs and one upstairs.
Plenty of spare bedding and we found sufficient crockery and utensils in the shared kitchen.
Lots of space in the common areas. Nice dining room table and setting.
Excellently maintained gardens. All pot plants in the house were in good condition, watered and healthy. So clearly someone was coming round and taking care of things.
An added bonus was when the near ghost-town of a village came to life with a celebration (like an English village fete) for Midsummer. around 500 local, friendly people appeared from nowhere, and there was food and drinks and music and dancing, and activities for all ages.

Property was in the excellent location - in the centre of the Põltsamaa, however very quiet and in scenic place. Behind the property is a river, beautiful park with the rose garden and also restaurants, cafes, grocery shops in walking distance. Also Põltsamaa castle and musem are 5 min walk away. Very beautiful place! Room very clean, equipped with everything needed and host was most helpful and kind. Thank you!
Place with a vibe. Excellent breakfast. Convenient location. Interior with lot of restored or originally adjusted vintage objects which creates sense coziness. Famous Poltsamaa castle just within arms reach.
The price is fair. It's a simple hotel, so we can't expect much. The receptionist was very friendly. The location was good, and there are bars and restaurants around.
