Perfect location for a quick overnight before flying to the Galapagos, we were made to feel very at home even during such a short stay. Our pickup from and to the airport was very easy- communication was great and they were perfectly on time and our driver was amazingly friendly!! Breakfast was incredible! A great deal all together!

My stay here was driven primarily due to the low cost and location close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was given the cost. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size for a single traveler. I've stayed in other places in Ecuador and this location was honestly better than I had expected for the price paid. They had good Internet service for what I needed (I wasn't streaming so I can't rate how that would work but for basic email and web searches, it was great). This was just an overnight stay so I can't rate any of the tours or other offerings of this hotel but for what it was, it was great.

Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
Las Hortensias is a delightful place to stay in Tababela.
There is a small fast food cum basic restaurant just 50 metres down the road.
Also by the footbridge are two well run and more sophisticated restaurants.
One is very rustic, with a wide menu and serves grilled meats like local lamb , sausages and beef which are very tasty.
Views of the surrounding hills are very good and the weather mild and pleasant in early February.

Bathroom sink has not signs of having hot water
There was not a bath tub when the water faucet was opened all water stared flooding the bath room floor complete

Wonderful, secluded property to relax before or after a long flight. Close to Airport and can arrange pick ups.
Breakfast is included and made to order. Other meals are also available. Grounds are nice with lots of surrounding open spaces and mountains. Rooms are well appointed and bathroom is large. I had a very pleasant, peaceful experience.

I had checked intobtje upgrade with booking and could not seem to cancel it, phoned the hotel and explained my problem for no results. Could have been because of the language barrier. I liked the hotel but it is too much money for whst it offers.
Loved this place! It’s perfect for a quick overnight between flights. There’s a restaurant around the corner for dinner, and they provide breakfast and transport back to the airport the next day. Much better than staying overnight in the airport or an overpriced airport hotel!
Fantastic hotel conveniently located a few mins away from the airport. Great breakfast, big comfortable rooms and the most friendly and attentive staff who made me feel very welcome.
