The location was perfect and the host, Sra. Cleopatra, was very gracious, helpful and kind. It was quiet at night for sleeping, and it had everything I needed for cooking, bathing, etc.

I stayed in the ground level 2 bedroom apartment. It's a great location, just a block from the beach. The property is very quiet and tranquil. There are lots of plants, trees, and shade. Patricio is an excellent host and very accommodating. The internet was excellent, which was crucial since I was working remotely during my stay. I liked the property and Crucita so much that I stayed an extra week. There are probably nicer places in Crucita, but I doubt there is a better value for your money.

Portoviejo has one of the best private hospitals in the country. We were there for a medical procedure.
There are excellent facilities in the area---nice international wine store, for example.
We didn't see much else, as this was not a tourist trip.
