The breakfast was not the best. There were some fruit platters, but they quickly ran empty, because the other food offered wasn't that great. The coffee was only available in the restaurant, and not in the rooms. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice TV. The pool was excellent, and the beach was directly in front of the hotel.

Playas is very close to Guayaquil, only a 1 hour drive from the city. It is a beautiful beach town with a lot of things to see and enjoy. The sand is great, very soft and not rocky and the waves are great for boarding.

One of the BEST locations we have ever been!
From Playas bus terminal it's a 15 minutes, 5$ taxi ride. Thus, no problems to get there.
We took supplies from Playas with as there are no restaurants or shops around.
We stayed in the flat . You see and hear the sea from the bed and have direct beach access.
Hosts are super friendly.
We can recommend the 2h hike along the sea to Playas. There's even a blue-footed booby (birds typically for Galapagos Islands) colony to be seen.
