Awesome spot to chill with great people and staff that really feel like a community. Good uncrowded surf and plenty of nooks for everyone to have their own space. Nice selection of rental boards that are not junk and great breakfast.

I LOVE THE SPACIOUSNESS OF THE ROOM, SUPER CLEAN, PRIVATE AND SILENT.
I stayed at Mirada del Mar, and LOVED IT!! The family was so wonderful! I felt like I was part of someone's home. It was right in front of the beach, in between Ayampe and Puerto Rico, and I had wonderful walks to both villages.
There isn't a big variety of places to eat, but there are a few comedores on the main road, about a 5 minute walk away, with great food for around $3-$4 for the Almuerzos and the Meriendas. There is also a pizza place. The hostel has a kitchen for guest use, which was nice. Although, if you plan to cook, you should probably go shopping before you go to Las Tunas.
They have a terrace with hammocks on the roof with great views. Some of the people who stay there, stay long term. And they allow guests to bring their pets.
I had wanted to stay in Ayampe, but it was too expensive, so I booked this hostel because it was inexpensive, and walking distance to Ayampe. I preferred this hostel and Las Tunas to Ayampe! Highly recommended.

I loved it here and extended my stay. The family are the sweetest, and the vibe very relaxed. My room had lots of space and light and really good internet for nomad working, there was also a large kitchen and free water; all for a very good price. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Las Tunas.
Very warm welcome from all the staff. A great hotel with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Very chill atmosphere and very good advice for activities around! I recommend 1000%!
