The location is very convenient & is central. There are stylish cafes close by (Kopi Luwak & Antigo) with affordable, tasty meals for breakfast & lunch. There are several salons closeby including Sudamericana (recommended!).
The owner is knowledgeable & helpful. The rooms are super clean & stylish. Of course, the artwork (of Che) inside is very unique & beyond incredible. You cannot find such a place very often (if ever?) with such ambiance, cleanliness, & convenience of location.
Small town. Go slow, take in the ruins, walk all the trails available. Feel the energy. Great starting point to get you into Sangay National Park. Recommend you go into the Archaeological site more than once.
