As the Name suggests: If you are in Love Art/Museums…. This property
is up your ally as the owners have filled the lobby, hallways and rooms with
sculptures and paintings.
The building itself is well maintained and clean.
Same goes for the hallways and rooms themselves.
Very satisfied with condition of furniture, water pressure, cleanliness.
We arrived by car, and a Big plus is that they have a private parking lot
That is accessible from inside the lobby area= so you don’t need to walk
out to street and back into the lot to get something from your car.

Guayaquil as most of Ecuador is full of crime. The hotel where I was staying was one block away from city government building and it was still not a safe place. There is a light house which is a tourist attraction and you can not go visit because your car will be stopped and you will be robbed. So the government knows about it and does nothing.

Many places and historical landmarks for sightseeing.
Many places and historical landmarks for sightseeing. I highly recommend the Historical Park in Samborondon.
There are security challenges at the time of visit, highly recommend that you have Spanish speaking skill or a local friend. Locals I have encountered are very friendly. Personally I did not encounter any crime or any dangerous situations.
Taxis are very cheap and cost normally no higher than $5. The infrastructure has actually improved since my last visit and I see great future for this city. I highly recommend trying grilled maduro and Pollo Campero. Some people say Pollo Campero is not the same anymore but it's pretty good IMO.

As of June 2024, people warned me that it was not very safe to be out walking around after dark in Guayaquil. I never felt unsafe while walking around in Guayaquil during the day and I didn't have any problems while I was there. I was able to see everything I wanted to see in 2 days. I saw just about everything I wanted to see so I doubt that I would return unless the security of the city gets better. Public transportation was easy to use and there was a good selection of restaurants. The museums I went to were free.

I loved this hotel and will stay there again upon my return to the Galapagos Islands. It is the perfect rest spot between flights back and forth to the US. The hotel is perfectly beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. The beds were super comfy. The little pool and lounge area with a full bar, although tiny, was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The room service was on time and delicious. I loved the buffet brunch served every day. It was spectacular. This was a great value for the money.

Currently, other than very specific areas, the vibe is not good. Security, soldiers and police abundant; and, lots of guns visible. Bars on EVERY storefront. Most stores you cannot enter; you ask for what you need and pay through the bars. And, with a curfew in effect, it’s weird to see absolutely empty streets when there are 3.2 million people living in the city! 😳

A beautiful, safe and welcoming city.
A beautiful, safe and welcoming city. People are nice and polite, the prices at restaurants are just fine and the transportation is easy to use and economic. Malecon 2000 was a really nice tour. Also you can find many gastronomic options and delicious dishes. We would definitely back there

A unique hotel in the middle of Guayaquil. Everything is special (in a good way) about it: U-shaped, with a very nice pool and rest areas in the middle, just behind the cathedral, desks for working on each floor. The breakfast was excellent! The staff friendly, you can even play board games, snooker or ping pong on the terrace. Oh, last but not least: the best toilet paper I ever saw in Latin America, finally a thick 3-layers paper, and not the cheap super thin one you have to fold 4 time to avoid incidents.
- Perfectly located, clean, quiet hotel, close to the airport and main bus terminal.
- Esperanza was the perfect host. Very helpful, attentive, kind and accommodating.
- Huge bed and very comfortable mattress. I had a great night's sleep.
- A/C and hot water working well.
- Strong and reliable wifi 25Mbps down and up
- Good selection of restaurants just a few blocks away and also close to Mall del Sol.
It was a nice hotel in an area that felt safe for Guayaquil. The staff was really nice. Also I think we may have been upgraded because the room we received was much bigger than what we had been expecting. Overall had a really nice stay
The breakfast was delicious. The location of this place is really good, in a very safe part of the city, close to a great restaurant and the Malecon. I'm pretty sure this will be our first pick next time in Guayaquil.
