Johanna and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and friendly, they did everything they could to ensure you have a comfortable stay.
The included breakfast was very very good - guests are given a menu to choose from each morning.
Rooms are clean and tidy. The gardens and surrounds give the place a really relaxed vibe and make it a great place to work remotely from.
WIFI is good, showers are hot, 3 minute walk to the beach.
Overall great value for money. Not much more you could ask for.

Our initial reaction was that this was a very pleasant place. The facilities and decor are basic, but everything you could need is there. The location is close to the ocean, with lots of nature around. My mum really enjoyed the pizzas in the restaurant, saying they were as good as the ones in Sicily.

The studio apartment was beautiful, with great quality facilities and attention to detail. Everything you need is there and it’s great value for money. Close to the beach. Ayampe is a quiet and extremely safe location. It is next to the Colibri trail which is one of the best birdwatching locations in Ecuador. This small place has a range of excellent restaurants which are very reasonably priced. It has good surfing available and the beach is fantastic and very quiet.
Really lovely place to stay in Ayampe. We had a quadruple room with an external private bathroom. The room was very large and the bathroom was cleaned every day. There was hot water for showers. The kitchen / common facilities were good. Well located - very short walk to beach / restaurants / bars / shops etc.
