Our lovely hostess couldn't have been more gracious and generous, and the building is rich in beauty and history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and if in the area again, we will definitely check their availability so we may stay again. (Thank you for everything!!)

A town with historical significance and many pearls within walking distance. For a couple of days, walk the pedestrian area, visit "Latinerhaven" and Skovgaard Museum with the works of "guldaldermaler" P.C. Skovgaards (and family) and continue to Domkirken and see the frescos made by his son. Domkirken has visible history back a 1000 years. Stroll the well preserved middle age cobble stone streets. Go to the Borgvold park at the lakes and enjoy the calmness.
Nice restaurants e.g on "Nytorv" from traditional Danish ("Fru Thomsen") to Italian ("Kehlet"), and specialty shops (sour dough products at "Simpel Surdej" and beer tasting at "Viborg Bryghus" - note, only open on certain days)

Wonderful view from the big window on the first floor. Lovely conservatory to sit in and enjoy a drink or coffee. A bag of freshly baked bread for breakfast awaited us upon arrival which was an unexpected value added service. Also cold beverages and wine were provided at self service cost. Simply a great place to stay in when you are in the need of accomodation, far better than most hotels we've stayed in.
The rooms at The Palads Hotel are very spacious and comfortable - great bed - there is free parking and the breakfast was very good too.
Viborg is an outstanding town with many extremely well-preserved streets and buildings, shops and restaurants.
We will definitely be returning someday and staying once again at The Palads Hotel.
Everything! Easy to check in. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and in an excellent location. Quiet but only a 3 minute walk to bars and restaurants. What a lovely touch providing snacks through an honesty box. Great shower which was welcome after a long bike ride.
Everything was fine. Very clean, big room and bathroom. Good bar at the lobby with a very funny Danish game.
Also the healthy breakfast was marbelous.
The rooftop is great to see Viborg downtown and surroundings.
