Very comfortable room (room 1) with lots of room and good facilities. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of local produce. Honesty bar available in the evening and close to town for an evening meal. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Decor was very nice.

Everything, especially very friendly landlords. The house is very well equiped and furnished in a very good style. Living room is big and comfortable. At our arrival we have got some fruits and a bottle of wine. Everything was well prepared for us. Instructions were very clear. We have spent very nice time in Saeby. The area around is very interesting and we have easy access to all the attractions, the beach, historical places and nature. It was quaiet in the evening and was very pleasant to seat in the garden.

Well run hostel with very friendly staff and a lovely little town in Saeby.
Ideal location if you want to visit the area: Skagen, Aalborg. Hotel surrounded by a beautiful garden and a park with a stream.
Very well maintained facility: someone who cares about the decor has a sense of taste: minimalist style, fresh flowers, pleasant natural scent in the rooms, calm music during breakfast 🥰

The proximity to the Frederikshavn ferry terminal - 15 minute drive as well as providing a good base for exploring northern Jutland and Sæby were the key factors for us in staying here. Both Torben and his wife made us very welcome and were able to make recommendations for our stay. Whilst the property is beside a busy road, the traffic reduced substantially in the evening and the windows of our room were effective in their sound proofing.
The room is on a pedestrian zone street and it is very quiet - actually the whole town is very quiet. The property has strict rules to keep it that way which was fine by me.
Sæby is a beautiful little town with a nice beach, some nice cafe’s bars and restaurants.
Be sure to check out the deli across the road. Get a freshly made Sandwich and wash it down with local beer.
the best breakfast we had during our entire 6 day trip through all of Denmark (including both hotel and cafe). The owner was magnificent. the room big and gorgeous with an amazing coffee pot in the room. The location was magnificent. Our only regret is that we wish we had learned about it sooner in our trip so we could have stayed more than one night.
Property should change the old rules. If I stay at hotel I won’t take the garbage out it’s the cleaner jobs and dishawasher not available even in the rule it was written put on the dish washing machine.
