Stunning location! It was great to have the view of the wetlands each morning. One of the days we walked the 1km to Lalandia on a hiking/biking trail and spent the day there. We charged our electric car at one of the 8 type 2 chargers. Breakfast was great.

Generally, our stay at the summer house was good. The staff was very accommodating, and the house was very clean and comfortable. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. It was hot at night, and we couldn't sleep well because the bedroom was so small. Opening the window didn't help as there was no fresh air coming in. I recommend installing air conditioning in the bedroom

Had some difficulty finding the venue - probably because we both have senior moments. Called "the Man" Rasmus -apologies if the spelling is incorrect. A most accommodating gentleman with bags of patience guiding us in to the Villa. Exceptionally clean and convenient in all aspects including the offer of beer if we couldn't find our wine which I was anxiously searching for when the hosts arrived to ensure we were comfortable and settled.
We would recommend the room we occupied as eminently suited for the more discerning older couples - we say this as we are being selfish and if we are honest the world and his wife would like the villa. It was a delight to be there and a very relaxing stay without having concerns for timings or breakfast routines. Wonderfully heated bathroom floor which my Swedish wife waxed and waned about. Shoes off also another great Scandinavian tradition which I hope is appreciated by all guests.

The town is not very interesting but it is close to the ferry which was an advantage to me.
I recommend that you avoid the Rödby Steakhouse and Pizzaria, on Östergade, the main street. I went there for a quick meal. The waitress and the cook were polite and friendly but the owner seems dishonest. He refused the payment by card and he asked me to pay cash in euro. He gave me the change, coins, in Turkish lira instead of in euro. He made some 3 - 4 euros by this trick which is really small money, but it caused a very negative impression. It is sad and a pity.

Easy to find, simple cozy budget room… can’t complain and it was easy to find and super close to the ferry port… the hosts were super responsive and I had a good nights sleep… Rødby is livelier than I expected with a couple of decent places to eat and an excellent supermarket open till 22:00 right next door to the rooms…. fantastic 👍🏻. Biggest minus for me was the distance from the shared toilet…. Right at other end of the house and the shower facility was shared with the washing machines and dryers
This is a great place to stay if you’re traveling to Sweden and just got off the ferry in Rødby/Denmark. We arrive late, but check in was no problem and the host was very helpful. Very new and stylish design (hej, this is Denmark), nice room, decent kitchen (large fridge). Yes, there are four rooms that have to share the bathroom, but there is one with washbasin and toilet and one with washbasin, shower and toilet and that will do. Will stay here again. Garden and parking provided, very quiet area.
