Great location, you can walk to Lego house (remember to book, especially the Lego house restaurant). All very clean, nice staff and a good breakfast. You are easy walking distance to restaurants etc.

Randbøldal is close to Billund - home of Legoland and Engelsholm - some castle-like community college campus next to a lake.
The area is surrounded by plenty of forests to go for a walk. It is a good area to take your dogs..because Denmark has dog forests (hundeskov) - it is some area of the forest surrounded by a fence where you can let your dog off the leash and near Randbøldal are 2 dog forests right next to each other. When you want to drive a bit further (1-2h by car), you can also reach the North sea cost (very nice!) or the baltic sea cost/ fjord. Car is definitely needed to get around but there are are also many bicycle roads.
