My wife and I arrived at the hotel, we parked in the parking lot behind the hotel and we were not informed at reception that we needed to register the license plate number, we went up to the room, when we went to take a shower the drain was blocked and the bathroom started to flood, we asked to change. room, they gave us a smaller one, when we got down I saw that there was a parking fine, I asked the person at reception to help me pay even though I didn't agree because it was their mistake for not notifying me. They refused to help and finally one of the attendants (the one who forgot to tell us to register the car's license plate upon arrival) asked me for the fine saying that his manager would cancel it; Arriving in France I received a notification that I had to pay the fine, I contacted the hotel who replied (humiliated) that a linguistic deficiency is not the hotel's problem but the guest's, as there were several files in English and Danish. We are Brazilians and live in France, we speak and read both languages and use French to write. But what disappoints me is that for simple but necessary information it was not given and it generated a problem that was handled with enormous disregard.

A quirky hotel. The kids loved the room and how the beds were situated. The staff were very pleasant and great with the kids. The breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place

I have previously paid more for less in other cities. For the price per night I paid you would get an attic room and no breakfast. The cost (which included breakfast) I could not fault. The options at breakfast were second to none and could not fault in any way. So much choice and all fresh and top quality. The hotel iteself was spotlessly clean throughout. The room was bigger than average and plenty of space for a family of 3. Every member of staff was incredably frienldy and helpful when needed. The main reception had space to sit and relax with absolutely no prosure to buy a drink from the bar. The location of the hotel was perfect. Less than a 10 minute walk from the central train station and likewise to walk to the old town (5 mins for Tivoli). We were luck enought to have a room facing the lake which was amazing. There is great left luggage facilities for variing sizes as required, which was easy to use and made it perfect to make the most of our last day (later than average checkout too).
When, not if, we return to Copenhagen this will be my first choice.
