We stayed at a great apartment in this charming big house located very close to a nice beach area and short driving distance to a great restaurant (recommended by the super nice host) as well as Kalundborg and the fantastic Røsnaes penninsula). We were there off season so got nice breakfast served to our room, but the in-season facilities look great, too :)
It's a nice place on the outskirts of Kalundborg on the countryside! Nice, quiet and relaxing, surely that depends on what you are looking for! Owners were very friendly and offered me a bicycle for free, for I travelled on foot. On the check-out day I was offered to have a lift downtown. In general it was just great experience! Would recommend it, also because that some of the best available option cost efficiency wise!
Very nice breakfast and centrally located on the main walking-street of Kalundborg. The location is close to the industrial area and the beach as well, although a car or bike is recommended. The reception closes outside normal business hours, but provides for 24/7 arrival and departure through a lock box.
Hotel Røsnæs is the perfect place for a weekend getaway! We really enjoyed everything about this place, the scenery, the room was very nice and clean and they even have an excellent restaurant as well (just remember to book a table there beforehand)!
The location of the hostel is very good for walking in to Kalundborg plus it is away from a busy road - so quiet in so far as road noise. The interior is very Danish - lots of wood and communal areas are stylish. Good areas to sit and read/work.
