The city seems nice, we only stayed 2 nights at the Strandparken Hotel (sadly not a good hotel), we went out to eat at a sushi/Asian restaurant which was really nice. Also the area is lovely, with the big lake/fjord.

The hotel was of a very high standard, with all the fixtures and fittings having been considered for efficiency and ease of use. The staff were excellent, friendly, and always willing to help. We would definitely reccommend this hotel, although it is a little way out of the town and you need transport if staying here.
The staff - no matter if restaurant or hotel - was very nice and helpful.
Don't have to high expectations about the room, but it was clean, had a really good bed and was absolutely okay for the asked price.
