Apartment was beautiful, quiet, has parking and is in a lovely neighborhood. Though we got lost due to a detour, and failed to download the entry instructions, when the host received our text for help, she promptly called us and stayed on the phone while we followed her instructions on how to get there and and gain entry to the apartment. She also told us about the coffee, cereal and milk available for breakfast, and there was a thorough instruction folder on the ample dining table. Everything was immaculately clean and well appointed, and had we stayed longer, there was a fantastic BBQ, with a large table and chairs in the well groomed back yard;; and two friendly dogs to pet.

Clean, well situated, Hillerød is a beautiful place, breakfasts are fantastic, extremely efficient facility.
This family hostel offers a spacious garden and free barbecue facilities. Views of Fredensborg Castle and its orangery can be seen from the garden. The castle is about a 10-minute walk away.
A city famous for its castle. Otherwise, classic countryside, from the point of view of gastronomy, nothing that would in any way stand out above the Danish standard. Bad taxi service, quite problematic for those who don't come by car.

This hotel is rated 3 star which is unfair becasu my stay was just fantastic. It deserves 4 starvrating for sure.
The breakfast was fantastic, everything fresh and a great selection. The location is very good, walking distance of the majority of attractions in hillerød.
Decent hotel in nice town, just what you expect from Best Western or similar category of hotel. Unbelievaable breakfast with local hand made selection !!!
