The staff was especially helpful, and after a small issue, upgraded our room and fixed the problem immediately. Location was great, breakfast and views from 2nd floor were fantastic. Older infrastructure, but not off-putting. A nice, friendly vibe.

Great continental style breakfast, fresh ingredients. The location is decent as far as rural Denmark goes, perfect if you have a car, a 20 min walk from the nearest bus station if use public transport. Close to the beach. Value for money motel style accommodation.

After reading reviews before booking, our expectations were pretty low, but the hotel is close to the ferry, so we took the chance. And the hotel is quite old and would benefit from a renovation, but the decor is quite cozy (old fashioned). But it is clean and the room has what it takes. The breakfast was fine with good rolls and good coffee. And the owner is accommodating without being intrusive.
We came by ferry from Halmstad to Grenå with our car. It took no time to find the accommodation even though there was a dark fog.
When we came down to the breakfast room we saw a table marked with our room number, It was laid on a table for two. We got bread, cheese. ham boiled eggs, yogurt and juice. The coffee machine was in front, we had unlimited coffee. It was enjoyable.
