Cozy hotel right next to the Billund airport - 5 minutes walk from the airport and 20 minutes to Legoland. Great for families with kids.
Next to the hotel is also a big parking lot P1 where you can leave your rental 🚗.
Check in: The hotel has both regular and self-service check-in. There are three kiosks to do so - creating your own key cards is an interesting activity for kids, highly recommended.
Breakfast: Plenty of choices with many organic options. Fresh pancakes is a must have ❤️.
☕ is excellent, offering many types including cappuccino or espresso . Thanks a latte! 😎
Diet restrictions are considered, just mention it during booking and you ask the friendly staff in the morning. #glutenfree

So well set up for children and families with an outdoor playground area, a basement with table tennis table football, an area for younger children with ball pit and lots of lego. There is also a nice hotel pool.
The hotel is right next to a sculpture trail and play line. Opposite lalandia, 5-10 min walk to legoland.
The sculpture trail is a really pleasant walk into Billund town and the lego house along the edge of a stream/river. Lots of wildlife and trees.
The airport is nearby so you can see and hear the planes.
This family-friendly hotel features free gym access. It has a private entrance to the popular Legoland® Billund Theme Park, open between the end of March until October.
LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, themed as a castle in LEGO style, is situated outside of the main entrance of LEGOLAND® Billund Resort, and 800 metres from Lalandia Water Park.

The location is great, and this is why they get away with providing the bare minimum. There are small parks on the site, trampolines, and go karts for hire.
What a charming town. Excellent food, beautiful surroundings. Many high quality restaurants (highlight - the mussels at the gastropub, and the pastries at Edith’s cafe and the bakery were both outstanding!!), extensive supermarkets, lovely walks and sculptures. One day is not enough for either Lego House or Legoland - at least two each would be ideal. And there is an historic tour of Ole Kirk Christiansen’s home on certain days which we missed but would have been very cool.

I am assuming the most popular attraction in Billund is Lego Land. It is worth visiting at least once in your life. We didn't like the Lalandia, it was too crowded, and dark, with no fresh air and with plenty of unhealthy food for kids. The Lalandia AquaPark was ok.
Billund is a nice clean town with friendly people - we are very impressed!

If your travelling to Billund I would say 3/4 days is plenty of time to do what you need to do, for us we only came to visit the Lego house and Legoland and got a little bored once we had done those. Overall was still an amazing experience!

Billund is a small town of 6k people, so very easy to walk around and you're not far from anything you wnat to see.
Multiple supermarkets, bakery and restaurants.
And everywhere you walk, you are reminded that it's the home of Lego!
The superb Lego House is central, with lots of other buildings (not available to public)spread about.
Bus to and from airport can be bit tricky without Danish Kroner.
Lovely town, enjoyable few days there.

Two nights in Billund was plenty to see LEGO House.
Two nights in Billund was plenty to see LEGO House. Our kids were too old to see LEGOland so staying town in was preferable. Good dinners both evenings at local restaurants. Bus to Copenhagen was a breeze, just be sure to book far in advance.

One of the best places to start driving on the other side of the road. LEGO House and LEGO Park theres was so much to do and for all ages, we were only there for a few days but planning to go back shortly.
The lodge was situated in nice parkland and it was lovely and quiet. It had everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The facilities on the park were excellent and kept our young boys happy. Just a five minute bus ride from the airport, and Legoland just over the road.
The hotel is just next to lego house which is great if you plan a visit there. They have a good breakfast, but you can also eat lunch or dinner, with very good and tasty options. Legoland is also 15 min walk or you can take a bus.
Excellent place for a trip to Billund.
Really nice and not too expensive place for tourists. About 30-40 minutes on foot from Billund Airport, 20 from Legoland. There is enough place for 4 people. I was surprised with the well-equipped kitchen
