On arrival hotel staff where welcoming and friendly, hotel was in a lovely location looking over the river In a small quiet village, good parking facilities carpark was under cover, room was nice size and lovely, very clean and tidy nice view, mini bar with cold drinks, bathroom was lovely and clean and tidy, great shower, beds where comfortable, breakfast was lovely everything you could want and sitting outside on the terrace in the morning was wonderful, restaurant was good with good food, in door swimming pool , bit small but ok,
We had cycled from Trittenheim on the second day of 6 in the saddle, Alte Schulhaus is in an good location and a we received a friendly welcome. There was a place to store out bikes in the garage which was great, The room was well appointed, bathroom was great and the breakfast offering more than set us up for the day.
We were in an Annex building around the corner from the main hotel, which was not a problem although it would have been if it has been inclement weather.
Nice smaller hotel with very extensive breakfast. The older gentlemen in the restaurant was really great. He gave the hotel the small family feel you expect with this type of hotel. The bulli tour which was organised by the ladies at the reception quite last minute was really great!
A family run hotel, staff were very friendly and spoke good English as I have no German. Food was excellent with German home cooking. Just up from the Mosel river with a very short walk to the river side. Stayed 12 days for work on the nearby US base and would use again.
Great place, well equipped and organised, beautiful view from the terrace. Parking some few dozen metres away but it's not a problem. Treat yourself to the beer and wine at the hotel at the nearest corner.
