This hotel is 4 km off the main highway and sits in a small hamlet and is by far the largest building there. We liked everything immediately, the most friendly, helpful staff, immaculate surroundings and huge room with views over the outdoor pool which was open and heated even when it was -1* !

This is a beautiful place with excellent hiking from the door. Typical of the Black Forest there is a lovely themed walk which starts opposite the hotel. We saw lots of wild deer and enjoyed the very pretty stream which runs down the valley.

The best place to visit and experience the Black Forest.
The best place to visit and experience the Black Forest. Centrally located near most of the attractions and a beautiful village with loads to see and do. We used a car rental from Offenburg and travel through the small towns and the Black Forest national park for several days. Easy parking and good hotels and restaurants. Wolfach is a wonderful place with so much to offer.

Free parking available in the hotel compound but those with "low" car please be mindful that the slope going up the hotel is kinda steep. It might scratch your bumper!
The room that I stay in has the best view looking at the hill of black forest.
The bed is very comfortable and the shower room which located in the room itself is perfect for me.
You get to choose which food you would like to have for breakfast. The serve bread, hams, cereal, yogurt and so on.
I definitely will come back to the same hotel..!!
The location is fantastic and parking is easy out front. The lift made it easy to get bags to the top floor and the hosts are super friendly. We had a family room which was a great size for us and our older teenage children. We didn't try the restaurant as it was under renovation but that would be a great addition. This is a good value for money hotel. Clean, comfy beds.
Wonderful hotel in the centre of Wolfach, with an excellent restaurant (best in Wolfach), very good breakfast and very helpful staff. Lovely room with a balcony at the back of the hotel, quiet and cool.
The location is very nice and the view from the patio was quite relaxing. The room was clean. The staff was nice, but not as friendly as the other hotels we stayed at.
