The room was clean, and the pillows and bed were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and there was a good breakfast at a reasonable price. The location was a quick walk to the bus stop.

The price was good. About a $12 taxi ride from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is very close to the bus and the center of town.

We flew into Luxembourg Airport which is around a one hour drive from Wittlich. Luxembourg Airport is a very nice airport to transit through.
Wittlich is mainly an industrial area with some nice housing and old town areas.
There are good walks around and nearby to Wittlich, we found it to be a good base from which to explore the Mosel river by car and all of the associated beautiful German towns. Which in turn play host to some great eateries, wineries and of course, German Beer. We would like to come again during the spring / summer time.
There are good restaurants in Wittlch and some nice "old" town areas too.
Supermarket facilities are very good, with higher end supermarkets and more economical supermarkets.
Bungert Supermarket is worth a visit, a nice cafe, very good food and wine selections along with clothing and homeware sections.
Wittlich also hosts an Oktoberfest, running from late September through to early November, we were invited by friends to one of these and whilst we are on the older side we did not feel out of place and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
If you have not visited Wittlich before do be aware that there is a large industrial area, but in my view this adds to the variety of the town, a mix of the old and the new.

I ve been to many hotels and aparts in over all europe . This flat was really amazing . Every fine detail was thought and optained by the landlord of the flat. Flat was super clean and recently renovated. The detergent for washing maschine , main dry and tinned foods in the kitchen , many family games in the cupboard … i was amazed. Just for this flat , i will go to Wittlich again . If you will travel to Wittlich , i recommend you to choose this flat. More comfortable than own house .
Clearly in the process of becoming an even nicer hotel, this place delivered well above expectations. A stones throw from the city's central square, it's still in a quiet area. Rooms are comfortable, excellent shower and good complementary breakfast. Good!
Oh, and it's very conveniently located right next to the Lieserpfad.
We were skeptical after reading the comments but it was the last hotel available. In the end, the room was quite big, clean and overall correct for a night. Better than expected. Quite old-fashion tho
Fabulous family-run hotel just a short walk from town centre. Very clean with large bedroom and bathroom. Good selection for breakfast. Free private parking and very friendly owners.
Comfortable hotel with good facilities. Nice sauna. The cheaper rooms are at the back looking over woods. Since I prefer dark quieter rooms this is ideal.
