Expectional value for money, cannot ask for more given the low daily rate for the single room. The shower is better then most overrated hotels. The room space is just enough but has everything I needed.
Very apreciated the Nespresso availability in the room.
There's no problem to park the car nearby.

Historical, yet modern.
Historical, yet modern. There is opportunity to experience close to nature. The UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea Visitor Centre Wilhelmshaven is a great interactive exhibition for young and old with lots of interesting information and a fun way to learn new things.
A very nice, well-ordered town with excellent public transport. The large selection of food shops was great, so we were able to cook some delicious food for ourselves in the apartment.

Wilhelmshaven was largely rebuilt after WWII, but plenty of older buildings survive. Its history is fascinating and is well-depicted in the excellent Küstenmuseum (Coastal Museum, Weserstraße 58). The Deutsches Marinemuseum (Navy Museum, Südstrand 125) was recommended by locals and is ear-marked for a future visit.

We were visiting friends and so had a different approach to the place. However it would be good for a couple of day's "ordinary" visit with interesting locations around the town, but remember it is basically a garrison town. Its High street is a good shopping for the ladies and a visit to nearby town of Jever will give one the chance to visit its brewery and also an old 17th. century Schloss -right in the town centre.

Wilhelmshaven was really a refreshing and unexpected surprise. My family and I visited the city with no great expectations of any sort, however we were left "gasping for more". The city is not crowded at all, leaving you with the possibility to enjoy the vast bigness of streets, parks, museums, history and culture. It is visible that the city played a rather large historical role in the past, while at the same time is being kind of "left on the side" from the other nearby major centers nowadays, such as Hamburg, Lübeck and Bremen. This is something which allows you "to breath", while taking a stroll along the city... And even though there is still room for development and improvement within the city, there are already certain small things on place, which can take your breath away - a small hint: visit the marine museum and the rosarium ;)

We liked our friendly and charming hosts.
We thought the apartment beautifully styled.Such attention to detail. This is a light, airy, elegant apartment with an amazing view across the harbour.
We slept very well, and enjoyed being in the apartment, which had access to the pretty garden and patio.Watching people and boats go by was lovely.
Our hosts had pointed out good places to eat,all within strolling distance!
The museums across the impressive bridge were excellent,a boat trip to see the extent of Wilhelmshaven a must.
First and second floor hotel with compact but very clean and comfortable room overlooking one of the main pedestrian areas, although this was relatively quiet early in the week. Bathroom compact but fully equipped. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Very prompt laundry service and staff very cheerful and willing. A few minutes' walk from the railway station.
Room and bathroom were good and met my expectations. A bus stop outside the hotel made it convenient to travel into the city centre. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Perfect location for the centre of town and only a 20 minute drive from where I was working. So much easier and more relaxing (and cheaper) than a hotel 👌
