The proprietor spoke English very well which is a big plus. The food was great, and they are situated very close to beautiful Burg Elton.

The location was wonderful. We ate at the restaurant and all four of us tried different dishes. They all were delicious. The decorations were a variety of antiques. The host was very nice. Parking was easy and the breakfast was very good with lots of options. There was a lovely small garden in the back. We were traveling with family and enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great, very nice location, parking and delicious dinner. House wine from Leo Fuchs completes a perfect evening in this hotel. I strongly recommend you visit the region and stay in this family hotel.
I love the no smoking policy between 18 and 20:00 on the balconies, since it’s dinner time. More places should follow this example!

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. We were traveling by bicycle and the luggage transfer service delivered our bags to the wrong town. They volunteered to drive us to collect our bags, saving us a 1+ hour train trip! Dinner at the restaurant was also amazing. Highly recommend; one of the best meals we had in Germany.

We enjoyed our stay , the room was comfortable, dinner and breakfast were good. Decor in the main areas is very germanic in style.

The town, although small, was very accessible and very well connected to the entire Mosel area. The town didn't seem to have everything one would need, but the ability to go nearby for everything else kept it a good destination. It was very quiet and very relaxing. We didn't look for restaurants, but I'm sure everything is within easy reach, either in Wierschem or in another town very close.

This is the perfect spot to stay if you are planning to visit Burg Eltz---we were able to have a good nights rest and nice breakfast, then get to the castle (and get a good parking spot for the castle) around opening time. This gave us the opportunity to visit the castle with much fewer people on the weekend, rather than how crowded it was when we were leaving, after our tour. Plus Burg Eltz was a beautiful serene site early in the morning.
