Sweet apartment inside a classic wooden house. The apartment is pleasant and quiet, the hosts are kind, and provide recommendations for the area. There is no TV, which provides additional silence to the apartment.Highly recommend Be aware there is no real kitchen,so better plain your dinner outside,for this you better have a car.

Great location. In and out in one night so did t see the area much. Just passing through. Breakfast was great and so was the view!
This is a modern suite in a traditional wooden Black Forest house It is very clean, and very quiet. Gerd, the owner of the house, is very friendly, and really wants you to enjoy your time in the Black Forest. The whole area is very beautiful, and there are numerous hiking trails nearby, including the Belchensteig. Note that if you are coming by bus, ask to get out at the Wiedenmatt bus stop, which is right in front of this house! Highly recommended.
Family run hotel with charming staff whose English was much better than my German. As a solo traveller I felt welcomed.
1,000 metes above sea level with magnificent views of the Black Forest (southern end) and footpaths lead out from the hotel.
Dinner was top quality and the style of cooking was creative and healthy. Coffee at breakfast was the best I've ever had.
