Perfect place if you look for a clean room with a shower. Breakfast is basic but enough for European appetite :). I am giving max stars just for the friendliness and hospitality of the host family. They were super helpful, found me a parking place, although I had not booked in advance and helped with the heating in the room. I had to work for half a day after checkout, and they allowed me to stay in the breakfast room undisturbed.

The apartment was really big and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff polite and helpful. There were lots of good restaurants in the nearby towns and villages.

Really quiet location and close to a lovely lake. We only stayed one night to have a rest (travelled from Czech to England). Everything was superb, the room was modern, clean with very comfortable beds. (It was four of us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, we had the best sleep :). Breakfast choice was amazing and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended, would not hesitate to stay again on our travels. Thank you.

Hensens is a culinary gem, and can easily be considered a destination in itself. The owners, Mr & Mrs. Hensen are warm and welcoming and you quickly get a sense of how much the - good life - e.g. good food, high room standard, and customer centricity means for them. Breakfast was perfect, so don't cheat yourself by not trying it out.

The hosts of this historic hotel were warm and welcoming, accommodating my special requests for breakfast and a dinner which were prepared with care. My room was quite small but entirely serviceable, with a comfortable bed and fluffy comforter. The shower was hot and the room was clean.
Characterful property run by very friendly staff.. We had a very tasty supper in the hotel sat on the veranda in the evening sun which was very romantic. Also had a great breakfast.

Beautiful surroundings, cozy hotel, recently renovated rooms, very comfortable mattrasses from Auping (it rare even in expensive hotels), free big parking, easy self check-in.
