We returned with friends. Hotel used to be guest house of the Schloss, and has sweeping marble staircase with knight in armour- bring evening gown for photo! Location opposite Minster (historic 3 m "Menorah", free organ music on 2 organs some lunchtimes) and Burg with tapestries to rival Bayeaux. Walking distance to exceptional Museum (think small Louvre galleries, Rubens etc.). In house Italian restaurant, food good and convenient, service less so.
