The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, nicely served, and had a great selection of local food. There is a parking for cars and bikes. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There are a few restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and a canoe rental place nearby.
We were very satisfied with the hotel and would stay there again on our next visit.

Location, lots of green, petting zoo and a Badehaus, that was very nice, people overall were nice too, some more than others, great for people with kids who like to swim and go bicycling, we didn’t do any of this so maybe we are not the typical customers

The staff were very friendly and flexible. We had arrived after the kitchen had closed (we also booked about 30 minutes before we arrived, the manager returned to the hotel to check us in as checkin had closed at 20 and we arrived at 2010). She then went out of her way to get us something to eat and drink and to make sure that we had good rooms to stay in. The rooms were basic but cosy and comfortable, well maintained and spotless and the shower was really nice. The blankets were a little thin (not cold though) and a bit too short for some of my companions (tall Dutch people). I am sure they would have fixed this if we had asked for help, but we didn't as we were super tired and arrived late. Breakfast was excellent and not expensive. Staff spoke both German and English. The stay was inexpensive.
The theming of the hotel is Herbs and Herbology, it smelled very pleasant and felt clean, light and inviting. The surroundings were beautiful.
The property is in the village of Raddusch in the district...
The property is in the village of Raddusch in the district named after the town of Vetschau. It is not in the town of Vetschau, as implied by Booking.com. I wasted about 45 minutes trying to find it because of this wrong information.
Vetschau is difficult to get around, especially in the dark. When I eventually got to the property, there was no food in the evening and when I asked about breakfast, the host said there was none, though Booking.com suggested my 40 euros included it !
Raddusch is a lovely small village, but difficult to find.
lovely hotel. we got an unexpected upgrade of the room. nice area ,very close to burg from which you can hire boats for roaming on the river spree. there is a very good take away/also sit in indian/greek/pizza shop direct next to it which seems to be open every day, the food is good. the restaurants around otherwise are closed on sunday evening.
Little bit older, but functional and clean.
Really great breakfast.
Very good position for visiting Spreewald.
Possibility to store your bikes in hotels bike store room.
The hosts were really friendly and super cool. The breakfast was amazing, exceeded our expectation and to be honest, had more options than many 4 star hotels as well.
