It was incredibly hot (90 degrees F) during our stay. There was no fan or air conditioning. A fan in each room would've been helpful. The location was fine. I noticed one couple parked their car right in front of the hotel on what I thought was the sidewalk. If that was indeed a parking space, it would've been nice to have known you could park there. We parked a 5 minute walk away (still convenient enough) and parking was very inexpensive. Breakfast and speaking with the woman who was making our breakfast was definitely the best part of this stay. She was fantastic as was the breakfast. Our sleep was very difficult. Given Germany may be in a heat wave for the past 4 summers or so, this hotel should have fans in each room, in the least.

There are lot of wineries, vineyards and hiking routes near the hotel. The drive to other villages (for example, Cochem, Bernkastel kues, etc.) on the banks of Mosel is very pleasant. The boat ride on the Mosel is very enjoyable. If you like wine, this wine region is a good place to visit.

Spend a week here.
Spend a week here. We used our accommodation as a base to travel around the mosel. The village/town consists out of 2 seperate villages seperated by the mosel. Great location 1 hour from Koblenz and 1 hour from Trier by car. 0,5 to 1 day is enough to explore the town. Great hikes with amazing views. There is a wellness (natural) spa/ , several great restaurants and wineries and on top of the hill a castle ruin with restaurant.
We loved the town jugendstil vibe and the central location and the lovely town bridge . There are also options to hop on board of 1 of the many mosel boat cruises

The property is very clean & quiet but their location km from the airport was not accurate and intended to mislead the customers. No public buses or trains run their route from 7 pm in the evening. Customers arriving in the country at night may find it very difficult to get there. Don't get stranded!

This town was gorgeous!
This town was gorgeous! We walked the streets for a while and admired it, but because it was Sunday almost everything was closed, and it was cold and rainy, there was little to do. I would love to be back when the weather is good. There are many shops, restaurants, and wineries. There is a beautiful uphill hike that my husband enjoyed in the evening, overlooking the area. We would love to spend more time in Traben-Trarbach some day.

Very pretty Mosel valley town.
Very pretty Mosel valley town. Some interesting restaurants - we found the walk and restos on the side of the river opposite the Buddha Museum more interesting than the side with the Museum . There were no little bakeries or convenience shops which we found surprising - just a Lidl out of town- as far as we could see anyway

A great base to discover the central Mosel valley either hiking, by bike, car or by boat. If you don't have a boat, you can rent one (including boats for which no permit is needed) in neighboring Bernkastel-Kues at Nautique Charter. Needless to say, there is a lot of great wine in the area, especially Riesling. Hotel Moselschlösschen is great, and CA Haussmann offers excellent apartments for short and long-term rent.

Did not book breakfast because of the nice kitchen in the apartment. Visiting many towns in the Moesel area we realised that the next time we may book something in Cochem or another city. Traben Trarbach was also great though. The hotel provides an app with a lot of useful information. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. The balcony is great.
This hotel is in a superb location. It was spotlessly clean, the view over the river was perfect, food was absolutely spot on, ALL staff were polite helpful and efficient. Breakfast was great with alot of choice. This hotel is 3 stars but all 4 of us would have given it 5. Very nice stay, we will probably return and would recommend it 100%.
Super spacious, very clean, very well equipped kitchen, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper etc plentiful
Wine fridge with their produce ( works like hotel fridge) - amazing wines! Michael hard working , super knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive- we felt very well looked after
It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel, beautiful interior, friendly and attentive staff, nice spa and the restaurant dinner and breakfast was excellent!
Beautiful location, easy to find parking.
Highly recommended for anyone to go, we will go again!!
A great little hotel with tonnes of character, a lovely shaded terrace to enjoy a meal and a drink, and friendly staff. The restaurant was set up beautifully for breakfast. There was also a garage to park bikes.
