Tangermuende has lots to offer. The historic downtown is super cute and quaint. There are many restaurants, cafes, ice cream places, and stores to shop. The harbor invites for a stroll. You can go on a boat ride on the river Elbe or eat Greek food on a boat.
If you have a car, which we recommend, there are lots of places to drive to and visit. The area offers many concerts and/or other cultural events. We listened to an organ concert in the church. And we went to the thermal bath in Bad Wilsnack.

Nice quiet town next to the Elbe.
Nice quiet town next to the Elbe. There is a nice paved river walk. Great shops and restuarants to visit. The brewery was excellant and they have a superb red beer. The food there was very tasty also. Nothing crazy going on there, just a great place to walk around and relax, enjoy some food and beers!!

A lovely family-run hotel with an on-site brewery! The location is fantastic: very close to everything: the city centre, major sightseeing attractions, and the river Elbe. The rooms are large, cosy, and impeccably clean, with comfy beds. Great breakfast; staff were all helpful, welcoming, and kind. I especially enjoyed the on-site museum and the many beautiful old plates displayed in the hallways - with wonderful memories of the past. During the pre-Xmas season, they even host a charming Christmas market in their courtyard!

Breakfast was very good and plenty of it much more then expected at the cost which is included in the room price
We also had dinner in the hotel as it looked so nice and we were not let down it tasted very good and was hot

Tangermünde is a nice little city and Hotel Schwarzer Adler is perfect place to stay there. The hotel consist of several neighboring buildings and has a private parking place as well as garage for bicycles. Breakfast is tasty and sufficient.
I had a pleasant stay and I believe so will you.
A very clean, big, very well equipped and modern 2 bedrooms apartment in the heart of Tangermunde. Everything was great with attention to detail by the host. We had all what we need and much more!
