We got there and we were checked into rooms we had not paid for by their staff. We queried and we told no that’s all they had available. We were then hassled by phone that we were in the wrong room. When we returned late on Friday night they got angry that we had checked in wrong and we need to move immediately. Under duress we agreed and went to get our stuff only to find they had locked us out. We moved and then continually had key problems the whole weekend. Otherwise the stay was good just a very poor customer service

Nice place and good breakfast. My room was tiny, though, it was the only one they had left. I would like to repeat the experience in a wider room. Looks like they have some with views to the Münsterplatz, which has to be great. Staff was very kind and pleasant - and multilingual! A special treat in Germany. Situation cannot be better, right at Münsterplatz.

We have stayed here before and this time we had dinner too. Just what we wanted and after 8 days in Piemonte you just want some good German food and a break from pasta etc…..The hotel is placed in walking distance ( 25 min. )

This historic Black Forest hotel is located in the centre of scenic Glottertal, a 15-minute drive from Freiburg. Family-run, it offers a regional restaurant with terrace and rooms with balconies.
The hotel is located in a very small hamlet. I wasn't there long, but the only amenity appeared to be the hotel. No other sources of refreshment. The hotel is some few minutes drive from Stegen. I was just driven through Stegen so couldn't form any opinion of its facilities.

A lovely hotel, really convenient for an overnight stay if travelling to Italy via Lake Constance. The location is splendid, with beautiful walks in the Black Forest right from the hotel. We were greeted so cheerfully and made to feel really welcome. Our room was well furnished and quiet and there was ample parking. Breakfast was very good, with nice extra touches like nuts and fruit.
This hotel is a hidden gem, we had a lovely welcome and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay, the room was lovely and comfortable and exceptionally clean. The Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely go back and highly recommend Landhotel Reckenberg.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and well-equipped for our family.
