What a lovely place, spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could wish for and we almost daily cooked. Everything for our small children was provided: a crib, 2 high chairs, Duplo, books and other toys, a sled, a buggy, and a fence for the stairs. Really very convenient. We loved the atmosphere, it is not a typical rental but you can feel that is has been made and decorated with love. Much more than you can tell from the pictures. Lots of storage space, we could use the garage for our ski gear. Host Sandra is really very nice and made sure we had a great time. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Nice and large apartment in a building with long term residents. It’s very quiet and about a ten minutes walk from town. The view is great from the large balcony.

I enjoyed my stay at Ferienwohnungen Bernie Schmid located in Altstätten, a few minutes from Sonthofen. I had an apartment on the ground floor, with a nicely appointed kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a covered terrace with a great view of the mountains: the perfect spot for morning coffee. The tranquil location provided a peaceful retreat after mountain excursions, and the hospitality of the hosts added to the charm of the stay. I hope to return in 2025. I really can’t think of a better, more welcoming, place to stay.
The people, the view from my room, the design of the Hotel-Pension, the location...basically everything but the weather (which was beyond anyone's control but my photos look incredible!). Thank you, Brigitte and team - I had the most amazing time in Sonthofen, and I can't wait to be back! :)

Excellent communication prior to out trip, very flexible. Open plan living area was brilliant and well equipped kitchen, fitted our needs perfectly.. Balcony was lovely. Easy walk into Sonthofen
the breakfast in the hotel was excellent. the bread were delicious and cheese and hum were good.
Additionally dinner was included. the menu changed every night.
