The staff responded right away to requests and issues. The room was clean. Luckily there wasn't anyone else staying in the hotel as the walls are rather thin and close to the road. But it was about what we expected for the shape of the house.

A small town near Frankfurt/Hahn airport. There is nothing that interesting to see but there are several good restaurant options, a great bakery, and a few big supermarkets. It great for walking in the nature if you have the time.

Sohren is a sleepy and very quaint little German town. There is nothing exciting to see here. The houses are immaculately kept and a quick jog around the town can be done in 20 minutes. The people were quite lovely, though.

It is a small, peaceful village with a chemist, good bakeries, a good supermarket, hardware shop, a big toy store, and restaurants all within walking distance. The locals are friendly and helpful with directions. They speak English too, so we felt confident to explore the area.
We mainly chose this hotel due to its vicinity to the Frankfurt-Hahn Airport and we were not disappointed. Our room was comfortable (albeit a bit dated) and warm, the bed was alright and parking was uncomplicated.
But the best thing about this hotel is definitely the restaurant that the family owns. If you come here or are in the area, you need to visit!
Don’t expect much, but given the price it is a nice hotel. The rooms are simple and the decoration got partly stuck in the eighties, but that doesn’t matter. It is clean and the people running the hotel (and the pizzeria in the same building) are really friendly!
