We were a party of 4 staying in 3 separate rooms, for one night. The rooms were all spotlessly clean and freshly decorated.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
After check out, we had a 5 hour wait before our train to Dusseldorf Airport. The staff were more than willing to store our suitcases until we needed then, for onward travel, which was very helpful.

The location was very central near shops, restaurants, historical places and buildings. Rich in history. Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about.

A charming pictoresque town with very friendly people. We had a delicious dinner in a brewery and by coincidence managed to go to a concert in a church.
Also the thermal spa in a neighbouring town is certainly worthy of a visit.

Soest was a lovely town to stay in and explore. Enjoyed the walk around the tree-lined historic city wall, the pedestrian-only shopping streets, the churches, and the central plaza was a perfect place to stop for a beer.

Our visit was sort of a coincidence - we came for a long hike in the Möhnesee forest but hadn't found a suitable overnight stay there. Thus I tried Soest (and had to check the pronunciation - "Sohst" and not "Suhst" or "Söhst"). We were very pleasantly surprised by this old Hanse town!

We visit friends in Soest but always take the opportunity to have a walk around the city walls and into the centre. Its a nice picturesque old town with very good shops, restaurants and cafes.
We ate in the Pilgrim Haus hotel restaurant which is excellent and also the town centre cafe near the pond.
You can walk everywhere within the centre, Soest is not that big.

Soest is very beautiful town when we were staying in City Motel Soest we notice that preparation were made for Christmas Market.
It's easy to get around Soest plenty of bars restaurants and historical
architectural buildings of interest.
This was my 2nd time and I really like it here. There aren’t many hotels within the walls of Soest and this one is very reasonably priced. My aunt (not a guest) joined me for breakfast which was only €10.90. Breakfast is lovely. White and seedy bread rolls, croissant, hard boiled egg, meats and cheeses and of course very nice coffee. Breakfast room is also lovely and cosy.
Lovely receptionist, very friendly and helpful.

Got a suite because I wanted a balcony. Spacious room, clever divider between bed and living room (half open, tv can be turned to either room).
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Good located, close to bus station. My room was looking beautiful, and also they gave me room on first floor exactly like I asked which I'm very thankful for. Highly recommend)
Clean and quite nice inside, the staff were nice too and I especially liked the fact that I could park my car in the hotel’s underground car park which was spacious and with large spaces for each car.
