If you’re looking for quiet getaway, surrounded by nature, and good proximity to what Rugen has to offer, I would highly recommend this place. Loved the style of accomodation-the straw roof was unique (perhap not to Rugen, but to the outsiders). Breakfast was served from 7:30, which was great as we wanted to start exploring the island as soon as possible. We enjoyed the food as well.

The breakfast was great. A classic german breakfast, with scrambled eggs on top, and a lot of coffee.
The restaurant had a really good steak, and the service was nice. The room was ok, but I had to open both windows on arrival to get the temperature down from sauna style. The shower was ok, and bedsheets and towels were clean.

PS. If you are not German, you might find some people giving you the (look), especially that AFD signs are al around the city.
