Charming, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated!!! This unit was perfect for a family of 3. Well maintained and stocked, providing all the necessary needs, including shampoo, dishwashing and clothes detergent!! Excellent location. The communication with the host was excellent.

A lot of nice half timbered houses, old romantic buildings, small restaurants and coffee shops, friendly locals. You can walk around the town easily. There is a good train connection to other towns and cities such as Kassel, Marburg an der Lahn and Frankfurt am Main. Treysa is a quiet town which suited us. If you have a car you can also explore other towns and villages belonging to Schwalmstadt. We didn't stay long enough to go on some of the hiking trails. There are shorter and longer ones.
