I we like the room it’s very clean together with toilet, the area of the hotel which you can do walking within the area, the location of it and mostly the staff that are very accommodating. Plus, the food that they serve is sooooo good.

The sauna area is really great, don't forget to request it in advance so staff can heat it up (12€/person/day). Only dry sauna available. The location is close to the sea, a 10 minute walk and very close to a big park area.

The town is small but adorable: a cery calm vibe. a lot of flowers everywhere, very nice restaurants, small local shops hidden on the way to the harbour, a lovely promenade along the sea. Because it's so small everything is walking distance. If you want to make your way to other cities and parts of the island, there's good connections via ship, bus and train.
The part of national park just around the corner is, in my opinion, way nicer than the upper part which is crowded and flooded with people. Of cause it depends on general vacations times but I was there in summer off holiday season and barely met anyone. All you hear and see is the ocean, birds and the wind in the trees - I find that hard to finda and I loved every second.

Nice town with good connection (trains, buses) to the rest of Rügen. The best location to reach National park Jasmund, famous chalk cliffs, boat trips to Arcona cape, etc. Sassnitz is a calm and relaxed place.

Sassnitz is a great place to relax.
Sassnitz is a great place to relax. You can make several nice trips a.o. to the national park and Konigsstuhl.
Going there by bus is easy. Some busses have a possibility to carry your bike with you. Of course you can also bike to Konigsstuhl but there are several steep hills starting from Hauptstrasse. Buy a special buscard in the bus. 9 euro and you can criss cross the isle for a month!

We went to Sassnitz for a long weekend with a teenager and a dog. The weather was unpredictable, the sea too cold for us to bathe, but we enjoyed immensely the nature and the old town: the sea, the beach, the Jasmund National Park, the Chalk Cliffs and the old town with its charming architecture both on sunny and slightly rainy days. A trip to nearby Binz proved to be a nice addition to the stay.

We were able to get around to many places ,eg restaurants,by walking and that was very good. The cruise-down to the King’s chair was most delightful.the restaurants we chose to eat at all served delicious food and had something for all of our different palates.

Loved the sauna, woodstove and large bathtub. Also enjoyed the large smart tv. We stayed during the late fall which was cooler and often rainy and it was nice to have those things to warm up and get cozy. Nicely decorated.throughout with live plants. Spacious living room Lots of brochures and information as to what to do on Rugen Island. There were umbrellas at the door to use. Appreciated the extra blankets for movie nights.
Excellent place!
We had a spontaneous trip to Rugen. We booked that one without having any expectations. But once we have arrived we found that's hotel was a lovely place with awesome view.
We definetely will visit one more time.
We stayed in Kurhotel as this one is closed at the moment. It was nice, good breakfast , just welcome water costs 3 euro, what surprised us ) Usually it‘s free
