Small town with nice people. Parking control is excessive. Went shopping, I used the shopping center parking lot and got a ticket for not using a blue parking disk. NEVER had something like this happen in all my travels before, so that was a bad experience.

I was told that the city had 100 000 inhabiants, to me it looked like 500 was a more correct number. Almost impossible to find any place to have an evening meal. In the hotel there was a nice restaurant, it was totally closed, and no information about this.
A paper list on the door told me and about 20 other persons which room number they would get, mine was No. 19. In the mail box was a number of keys, and it worked, I found key No. 19 and got inside!

A really good breakfast selection. Being able to choose when we wanted our rooms cleaned. The staff were professional and helpful.
The hotel was central for meeting family. Location was near the lovely Am See water. Max the dog was a real delight. Free drinks in mini bar on first night was a great touch.
The hotel is definitely NOT 'am See', but rather in a dull looking old neighborhood.
Service and staff are great, so is the food, but a bit more expensive than you'd expect.
Small hotel, very friendly owners, close to grocery store, petrol station and highway. Hannover is 30 minutes away and it was the excellent spot for daily trip to there.
Friendly staff, good breakfast. The quality of the hotel corresponds to the price. I can definitely recommend if you are looking for affordable accommodation.
