Having a kitchen saved is a ton of money! We were able to make a quick stop at Schmidt's, my new favorite grocery store, and pick up all the fixings for Black Forest Ham and cheese sandwiches, potatoes, Spätzle and Jägerschnitzel! Sick a heart experience! H
The ladies in housekeeping were lovely,as well as everyone else at the hotel. They did my laundry for only $13€ per bag! We had already been traveling over a week, so that was great! And a decent price!!

A very traditional feel for my first visit to Germany. The room was very comfortable, facilities clean and well kept. The sauna was a lovely addition. The lounge area was really comfortable with games and books. Although we travelled as a couple, I would not hesitate in bringing my children here. It's such a lovely, warm and welcoming place.
The food was delicious, very traditional in nature and was a real treat for my German fella. I cannot fault this place.
It was my birthday during the trip and they made it such a memorable one.
Thank you so so much to all of the staff. I hope to be back again in the future for a longer stay to explore the area a little more.

The property is great. It allowed one multiple open and closed places to sit and relax if you wanted to catch up for a drink [bought on your own] and not necessarily go out. Also diagonally opp the hotel is a Sushi & Vietnamese restaurant which was very good.
The Schwarzwaldgasthaus Salenhof is very quietly located in Schwärzenbach, the highest part of Titisee-Neustadt. It offers hearty Black Forest hospitality, far from any noise or traffic.

It's located in a very beautiful landscape, the breakfast was quite good and the staff were so friendly.
It was a good experience for the price.
As it's a Schwarzwald-style old house, you might hear some creaking from others walking on the wooden floors, but for me, it adds to the charm and authenticity of the experience.
