Location and amenities were well maintained and oriented towards active-family vacations. I would say that a couple vacation is possible, if you are not put off by families.
Both pools were very clean and well appointed with chairs and Lounge seats. Definitely a relaxing way to unwind from a day in the mountains and local area.
Access to bike/walking/running trails was a great way to get out and safely get around the area to take in the surroundings.
In groups/families of 5+ can reserve breakfast buffet tables for the duration of your stay for one of the two breakfast times that were available.

I came to Ruhpolding to watch the World Cup Biathlon race...
I came to Ruhpolding to watch the World Cup Biathlon race held there. The town is beautiful and easy to get to via auto or train. My hope is to return in the summer sometime and enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities.

Our stay included a local bank holiday and there seemed to be a lot of families with young children and babies staying at the hotel. Consequently, the pool ares and sauna were too overcrowded to use and there was a lot of noise in the leisure areas and dining room.
The grounds to the hotel are expansive and beautifully maintained and we were pleased to find there is a short scenic walk to RUHPOLDING , an interesting town with a good compliment of shops and cafes.
The rooms are cleaned every other day unless otherwise requested but they forgot to leave towels when they cleaned.
The reception staff are polite but seemed indifferent. The restaurant staff are very pleasant and professional.

We have visited Ruhpolding on many occasions but not for 4 years (covid etc). We returned to find a thriving community, busier (but comfortable) town centre than last time we visited & excellent local facilities.

A great little town with a lot of hiking tails, old houses, restaurants and shop. Great transportation possibilities (train, bus). We definitely prefer Ruhpolding over Inzell, Bad Reichenhall or Berchtesgaden.
The owner is a great person,very hospitable. Everything was perfect, clean room, good breackfast and amazing view from the room.
The owne gave us free tickets for the many entertainments like biathlon stadium, funicular to the mountain and many others more. The view from funicular to the mountain was amazing.
I highly recommend this guest houses and funicular in Ruhpolding.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming, and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed and more. The hotel itself is cozy, and the breakfast felt like dining with family. The surrounding area is lovely, offering a wide range of exciting activities.
The hotel is very nice. It's nice that you have the Nivea shop and you can buy a brush, for example, if you forgot yours at home (my case:) ).
The food is also really great and the pool as well.
We will return next week!
