The Altstadt Hotel is within walking distance of the train station and thus very convenient. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We did not have breakfast but the restaurant was cozy and staff very pleasant and welcoming. The linen was clean and spotless. Overall a wonderful place to stay in Rheine.

The Hotel is outdated, the room was clean. You could hear the noise from below (Friday evening: restaurant). Neighborhood is fine, but you need a car. The staff was very busy during checkin, but it worked.
great help when checking in and parking the car. the hotel has an agreement with the local council not to parking fine cars first thing in the morning. nice location on the river, and really good breakfast
