This was by far the nicest hotel that my husband and I have ever stayed in. The staff was so friendly and wonderful and I think we were the only English speaking guests there and they always went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and all spoke English to accommodate us. The views from the entire hotel are stunning, pictures Just don't do it justice. There is so much to do close by with rental car and short hikes within the town. The food was unbelievable. A huge buffet for breakfast and dinner that changes all the time and is fresh, natural and some of the best meals that we had in Germany. There are so many little amenities and touches that make this just the most relaxing, beautiful place to be and if we ever came back to this area we would 100% stay again!

We got two adjoining rooms for our own use which was very nice because we could spread out our belongings and wet clothes. Breakfasts were good. The first night we were there, we had dinner and that was really good too. There is a refrigerator next to the breakfast room where guests can keep things in their own designated container. There is also a beverage service refrigerator that guests can access using the honor system.

The location was great for our stay. We had a balcony room that showed the beautiful alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It has nice area for parking and a great breakfast. We stayed here two times.

It's a nice place, but the weather was a total gamble.
It's a nice place, but the weather was a total gamble. We in Ramsau for four days and it rained all the time. We had planned to hike Hocheck Watzmann, but we could only partially do it until Watzmannhaus. The route for it however was very beautiful! One can also visit the beautiful Wimbachklamm gorge in Ramsau(for a fee of 2 euros). Another small and peaceful place is the Hintersee. One can see the mighty Hochkalter in the background. We also explored the region of Konigssee, Obersee and Jenner, which were quite beautiful.

Our first vacation in Bavaria was a huge success. The hostess was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere warm and cozy, the breakfasts delicious, and the landscapes stunning. Everything was just as we imagined. The room was nice and warm, and it felt like we weren’t staying in a regular hotel but visiting friends with a very friendly and welcoming vibe. A special thank you for the way you treat animals; I have never met a more welcoming hostess. Thank you for your hospitality and the warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The breakfast variety is still very rich, and the buffet breakfast provides a variety of choices. The size of the room is not very big, but it is still very comfortable and the equipment can be used. Located in the middle of King Lake and Hintersee, it is very convenient to go to the attractions, about 15 minutes by car. The hotel does not serve dinner, but there is a very popular restaurant on the hill opposite the hotel. The restaurants in the town where it is located are also well worth a visit.
It was very quiet, with only the sound of the nearby river putting you to sleep.
It is conveniently located right next to a bus stop (bus 846 from Berchtesgaden).

For the area the price is reasonable.
There is no breakfast, but upon request you can have fresh Brötchen in the morning. The room description doesn't say, but there is also all you need to make coffee and tea, as well as a fridge that guests can use (but no cooking facilities proper).
The property had some amazing views from the balcony and also very close to Ramsau Altstadt and Hintersee. The staffs were really friendly and ensured to provide all adhoc requests made.
