Amazing location that was the start for a nice walk. The hill itself was also climbable and you were rewarded with a nice sight for the effort. Rooms and building as a whole were very clean and modern, kitchen was well stocked (I left some mayonaise and butter we couldn’t finish in the fridge for the next guests, pay it forward!). Beds were soft, and staff was very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

Carpet was clean everywhere. Breakfast was nice if you're a flexy eater, only no glutenfree/vegan things really, but also not the targeted guests i guess. It was very quite (end Sept) so not many people on the floor to share the bathroom with.

We had a pleasant and instructive stay at the Burg Rabenstein with a visit to the Sophienhöhle. The rooms were very comfortable. We have never slept so well. The castle and its history are worth taking the time for the tour and others activities. We are looking forward to coming in the Summer again.
Absolutely great hotel with excellent service. Brand new rooms right after modern renovations. Wooden (or vinyl) floors, bathroom was sparkling clean and new, the guys even put bath salt and candles. Very family and small baby friendly place, great team and exceptional service.
Custom made breakfast was delivered right to our room at the agreed time in advance.
Parking 5 metres walk from the entrance.
All hiking paths are super close and convenient to reach tourist destinations.

Apartment very comfortable, beautifully furnished, spacious, well equipped, modern, large terrace, comfortable garden furniture on the terrace. We felt there like at home. We enjoyed staying there. It was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed. There is an apartment below the castle, surrounded by the rocks and forrest, only two minutes on foot to picturesque centre of town Pottenstein. We can recommend this apartments to demanding tourists.
This is a hostel, not a hotel. However, we had a room with a private bathroom so it was much like the other hotels we stayed at recently. Our room was large and clean, with a massive bed, good bedding and lovely smelling towels. It was peaceful and we slept really well. Good parking.
